WHAT IS THAT COURCE? 

The course covers the principles of chronic ulcer care, assessment and treatment, as well as various cleaning methods and wound dressings, their materials and purposes. Course will also give you information how to choose right wound care dressing for each wound.

WHO TEACHES IN THE COURCE?

Instructors of the course are specialist wound care nurses Ulla Nuutinen and Maria Honkala. They both have over twenty years of experience and education in wound care.

Ulla works as a private woundcare nurse in the home care area and Maria works in the wound clinic of the university hospital. Ulla has also previously worked for more than ten years at the wound outpatient clinic at the university hospital. They both live in Finland.
